Jenna Tipaldo is a PhD candidate in Environmental and Planetary Health Sciences at the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy (CUNY SPH), also pursuing a certificate in Demography at the CUNY Graduate Center. She serves as a Fellow with the CUNY Institute for Demographic Research and was a fellow with the NYC Panel on Climate Change's (NPCC) Health Working Group under NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice. Her work focuses on the health impacts of climate-related hazards and disasters using public health, demographic, and geospatial methods. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at CUNY Hunter College, where she teaches statistics. Jenna also has experience with science communication, having published writing and podcasts with PBS, StarTalk, and Sunrise Movement NYC.
