Season 1 of Wake Up, New York! A Sunrise NYC Podcast

I am thrilled to share the first season of Wake Up, New York! A Sunrise NYC Podcast. Earlier this year, our volunteer team of producers, hosts, and editors from the Sunrise Movement's NYC hub set out to make local issues relating to climate change accessible to New Yorkers of all backgrounds, encouraging people to get informed and active in the fight for a healthy, livable future. Guests - including elected officials, academics, and organizers - helped us explore issues of public housing, local politics & climate policy, green jobs, and the fight against fossil fuel pipelines. As a producer & host, it has been such an incredible opportunity to dive into each of these issues and to hear from people working on and impacted by policies related to the climate crisis.
