Story on Education Post-Incarceration published with WNET's Chasing the Dream

Early on in my summer internship with WNET, I was presented with a humbling opportunity. After speaking with the hardworking graduates of St. Francis College's Post Prison Program and the dedicated mentors that make the program viable, my coworker Emily Harris and I wrote this piece to share the inspiring stories and accomplishments of these formerly incarcerated individuals. Published as part of WNET's Chasing the Dream initiative about poverty and opportunity in America, this feature considers the potential of education to improve society and the lives of those who have served a prison sentence.
